Douglas Shorter has more than 30 years experience in property management. He established Doug Shorter Property Management, Inc. in 1991 and serves as Broker-In-Charge. He has been a member of the National Association of REALTORS® for 25 years. In that time, he still manages to find extra time being a private pilot. He is a member of both the Association of Private Pilots and the Experimental Aircraft Association. Doug is a volunteer pilot for Angel Flights. He was featured in The Post & Courier on his volunteer efforts. Over the years, Doug has served on numerous committees for both local and state Association of Realtors. He "piloted" the effort to write a residential lease and management agreement that are presently in use by the Charleston Trident Association of REALTORS®. Doug lives in North Charleston with his wife, Marie. He has three sons, six grandchildren and a great granddaughter.
